PNOC AND GALAXY WIN GBL TITLES
In the Government Divsion in their game against MOF Omsangel, Jose Meletel (21 points) again provided the spark for PNOC as they went on to win by 79-73 in a tight second game. For MOF it was John Stills with a game high 24 points in a losing side.
Galaxy Builders had 5 players in double figures as they took Surangel and Sons in the second game of the 3 game series by 108-95. For the winners, high scoring guard Dennis Castro had 29 points while National Team member, Arnold Undecimo carried the scoring for Surangel and Sons with 28 points but it was not enough to fuel their cause.
In the consolation games, PPR Shark Attack took third place in the Business Division after beating PPR Royals 73-69 while MOE 1 Spiders defeated KSG (Koror State Government) 72-52 to finish third in the Government Division.
The Championship Elimination Tournament will take place during the next 2 weeks.
