Only the varsity teams in high school get a chance at playoffs. This year the Father Duenas Memorial School and George Washington High School will play for the Championship being held at the University of Guam Field House. But let's not forget the Junior Varsity teams. We will be seeing most of these boys' in the varsity teams next year. Guam Basketball Confederation sponsored the 2012's Junior Varisty Championship Tournament at the FDMS Jungle. 

It was tough for most of the JV Teams and easier for others to get back in the groove because their season ended a week and a half before the JV Tournament started. By this time, most of the boys' were already molding their bodies into the sport of Volleyball; which is the next sport this year.

In the end, JFK high school took home the championship trophy. It was another chance for the FD Friars to redeem themselves because JFK was the only team that defeated them during the regular season in overtime. The Friars couldn't adjust to JFK's defense turning the ball over several times.  JFK came from behind in the fourth quarter and sealed the deal with quick offense and defense.
