Children Crowd Phoenix Center to Learn From Ryan Burns

Many kids would have slept in on a Saturday morning or maybe turned on the T.V to catch a series or a movie. Others put on their basketball jersey, basketball shorts, a pair of socks or two (some wear two pairs of socks for comfort), and donned on their Jordans or maybe a pair of Kobes. Afterwards, the kids probably woke their parents up to drop them off at the Father Duenas Phoenix Center where Ryan Burns was hosting a Basketball Player Development Clinic for boys and girls in the divisions of 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U.

The clinic was split into two sessions. The first session started at 7am while the second session started at 8:30am. Players for the Guam National Junior, Men, and Women's Team also joined the clinic.  Their participation showed the young children that fundamental skills are important no matter what level of experience a player has achieved. To emphasize that, the children had the chance to do drills with them.
