2021-22 SQJBC U18 & U21 TRIALS
Sunshine Coast Phoenix now invites all U18 & U21 athletes to apply for the upcoming SQJBC 2021-22 U18 & U21 Men's and Women's representative team trials.
AGE GROUPS:
U18 Boys and Girls: Born 2005 | 2006
U21 Men and Women: Born 2001 | 2002 | 2003 & 2004
Due to the change in structure from Basketball Queensland for this year's SQJBC U21’s you are still eligible to trial if you are born in 2001.
NEW BQ FORMAT AND CALENDAR INFORMATION
Basketball Queensland have now introduced a new format for the SQJBC season.
Please see attached the 2021-22 Basketball Queensland Calendar with the updated draw format which now consists of 5 carnival rounds.
State Championships dates and venues will be confirmed in the near future.
Please note: U21 Women’s season will run on a modified format.
LOCATION | DATES & TIMES:
Trials will be held at Maroochydore Stadium, 22 Elizabeth Daniels Way, Buderim
Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to check in and be allocated your trial number.

U18 Girls and U21 Women: 4pm -5.30pm
U18 Boys: 5.45pm - 7.15pm
U21 Men: 7.30pm - 9.00pm
Thursday 1st July 2021
U18 Girls and U21 Women: 4pm -5.30pm
U18 Boys: 5.45pm - 7.15pm
U21 Men: 7.30pm - 9.00pm
TRIALS ARE CLOSED AND NO ENTRY OTHER THEN ATHLETES & OFFICIALS WILL BE PERMITTED

Registration is due by Friday 25th June 2021 @ 11.59pm

Trials are open to players who are registered to and are participating in domestic club fixtures from Caloundra Heat, Suncoast Clippers and Noosa Cyclones. All players MUST be financial with both domestic clubs and Sunshine Coast Basketball Association to be eligible.
No refunds will be given if you change your mind, are unable to attend both days, are not selected or for any other reason as determined by SCBA
TRANSFERS & PERMISSION TO TRIAL FORMS:
Transfer & Permission to train forms MUST be submitted to admin@scphoenix.com.au prior to trials dates.
COVID-19 SAFE PLAN
Sunshine Coast Phoenix is operating under a COVID safe plan and as such request that all participants adhere to the rules and directions of officials on the day.
Please ensure you maintain social distancing, wash hands often and use hand sanitiser, don’t share water bottles or towels and stay home if unwell. You will be asked to clear the area immediately after trials to ensure we run on time for each session.
