Sunshine Coast Phoenix Basketball is excited to launch its Basketball Camp Program for this coming April school holiday period. Recently appointed Phoenix NBL1 Men’s Head Coach and former Brisbane Bullets championship winning coach, Dale Ryan will be heading up the delivery of the camps with coaching support from Sunshine Coast Phoenix NBL1 players. The format of each camp will provide participants of all ages and skill levels with an engaging and positive basketball experience whether they are a new player to the sport, a young player looking to develop their skills or an experienced player looking to take their game to the next level. Phoenix Junior Development Camp  

(Beginner and Intermediate Male/Female Players aged 7-14)

Tuesday 6th April: Maroochydore Basketball Stadium $70

Monday 12th April: Caloundra Indoor Stadium $70

9am – 3pm

All players to bring their own basketball, lunch and drink bottle (canteen will be open for snacks during breaks in the camp)

Designed for girls/boys of a beginner to intermediate club level aged 7-14 years. The camp will provide a combination of skill development and competitive opportunities for players of all levels, including fundamental drills, small-sided games (2v2 / 3v3 etc), competitions, and full court 5v5 games. A player to coach ratio of 1:10 will ensure high quality coaching and player focused engagement. Competitions, prizes and giveaways will bring an added element to the camp ensuring a unique camp experience for all that attend.

Phoenix Female FUNdamentals Camp

(Beginner and Intermediate Female Players Only aged 7-14)

Friday 9th April: Maroochydore Basketball Stadium $70

Wednesday 14th April: Caloundra Indoor Stadium $70

9am – 3pm

All players to bring their own basketball, lunch and drink bottle (canteen will be open for snacks during breaks in the camp)

A unique opportunity for beginner and intermediate girls aged 7-14 years to develop their skills both on and off the court in this new and exciting camp format being delivered on the coast for the first time!! With players from the Sunshine Coast Phoenix NBL1 Women’s team leading the camp, this will be a great opportunity for participants to not only develop their skills and understanding of the game, but also build personal confidence through interactions with professional female athletes who have played the game at the highest national and international level.

(Current and aspiring Phoenix junior representative players aged 10-16)

Wednesday 7th April – Caloundra Indoor Stadium $70

Thursday 8th April - Maroochydore Clippers Stadium $70

9am – 3pm

All players to bring their own basketball, lunch and drink bottle (canteen will be open for snacks during breaks in the camp)

This camp is designed for the more experienced girl/boy aged 10-16 years, who wants to take their game to the next level. With coaching and guidance from Phoenix NBL1 coaches and players with professional experience, this camp will provide players with a unique opportunity to learn from the best, developing skills and game play in an intensive, challenging and informative training environment.

Camp, Clinic and Event Terms & Conditions

• Applicable payments are to be paid in full prior to the commencement of the selected SCBA camp, clinic or event. Payment options include credit card and bank transfer.
• All registrations must be completed online via the SCBA website. Confirmation of payment and registration will be provided to all customers.
• Cancellation of bookings (provided in writing) will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the schedule commencement date and refunded in full. No refunds apply if cancellation of bookings is within 24 hours of the scheduled camp, clinic or event commencement.
• It is presumed that all participants attending SCBA camps, clinics and events are physically fit for active play. SCBA does not accept any liability for personal injury, property damage or loss by any participant involved in an SCBA camp, clinic or event. SCBA coaches and staff will act accordingly within their best judgment in an emergency requiring medical attention. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the payment of any such medical expenses.
• SCBA reserves the right to use photos and video footage (taken by SCBA during SCBA programs) for promotional material, website display and advertising purposes; unless otherwise specified via email by the parent/guardian.
• SCBA reserves the right to refuse or remove any participants from clinics, camps or events that do not follow Codes of Conduct set forth by SCBA.
• At their own discretion, SCBA has the right to reschedule or cancel clinics, camps or events for any reason whatsoever. Scheduling of all clinics, camps or events advertised on the website, social media or promotional flyers are subject to change.
