Inglewood United and Perth SC will meet in the Men’s NPL Night Series final at Dalmatinac Park.

Inglewood got through after they defeated Armadale on penalties in their semi-final, while Perth’s win over ECU Joondalup was more routine.

Steve Sokol gave Inglewood a first-half lead at Percy Doyle Reserve on Sunday night, but Armadale levelled four minutes after the break through a Friday Zico penalty.

And it was penalties which would decide the outcome, with United winning the shoot-out 3-2.

Next up came the Perth-ECU semi, with a hat-trick from Michael Domfeh helping the Azzurri to a 4-2 victory.

The Perth striker scored his first on eight minutes. And while Danny Hodgson quickly had ECU on terms, Perth were back in front soon after through Yagoub Mustafa.

The key moment came in first-half stoppage time when Domfeh bagged his second, and Perth’s third, to re-establish the two-goal lead.

Hodgson briefly gave ECU a lifeline when he netted again in the last minute, but Perth and Domfeh made the game safe in injury time when he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot.

The Night Series final will be at Dalmatinac Park next Sunday at 7pm. Before that is the third-place play-off between Armadale and ECU (5pm).
