Miniball is a Basketball league for children in school years Kindergarten - Year 4. It is Maitland Basketball’s first game playing experience for Primary School aged children

Players will develop their skills and confidence in a fun and supportive team environment.  Each week your team will play 2 x 15 minute halves. Our Sporting Schools accredited coaches will assist referees and players build confidence and increase skill level of participants. Your game of Basketball with modified rules to assist skill improvement and confidence in all players:

• Hoops lowered to 8”6’ to allow young players to score baskets
• No grabbing rule - When a player is holding the ball, defenders may not grab the basketball - to foster development of jump stop, pivot and footwork confidence

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Ages: Kindy to Year 4
• Cost: $100 per player per term
• Weekly Game times - 4.10pm ; 5pm; 6.30PM (IF REQUIRED)
