Welcome to Korumburra Basketball Association, home of the 'Wildcats'.
We offer a range of basketball programs to suit all ages & abilities including Aussie Hoops, Domestic Competition, Junior Representative/Squad, VJBL and CBL.
Our domestic competitions are:
Monday night - Under 14, 16, 18 boys, A Women
Wednesday night - Under 10, 12, 14, 16 girls, A Men, Masters (35+ Men)
Friday night - Under 10 & 12 boys
We run several seasons during the year & provide a canteen with drinks, snacks and hot food. For information regarding our domestic competition email: domestic@korumburrabasketball.org.au
Our Aussie Hoops program is for players aged 5 to 10 years old.
Aussie Hoops is an introductory program providing fun and inclusive basketball. We offer Aussie Hoops regularly throughout the year. Stay connected with our social media for program dates & times. For more information about Aussie Hoops go to: https://aussiehoops.basketball/
Our Junior Representitive/Squad Program is for girls & boys from Under 10 to 18.
Players must play regularly in our domestic competition to be eligible to play in our representative teams. We enter teams in a range of tournaments commencing in October through to March/April the following year. Culminating in teams playing in Country Championships against all other Country Associations in Victoria.
Our VJBL (Victorian Junior Basketball League) Program is for girls & boys in Under 14, 16 & 18.
VJBL is a state-wide competition offering a graduated system of junior basketball and is the hightest level of competition in Victoria. Games are played on Friday night for most of the year in a home & away format. For information regarding VJBL email: vjbl@korumburrabasketball.org.au
Our CBL (Country Basketball League) Program includes Men's and Women's teams.
CBL is an open age league held across conferences in regional Victoria. We play in the Gippsland conference.
Our Korumburra Wildcats Junior Tournament runs every year in late October.
In 2022 our tournament will run over 2 days - 22 & 23rd October. Saturday is U10, 12 & 14s (A and B sections). Sunday is U16 & 19s (A and B sections).

Pat awarded AIS Scholarship . . .
Phillip Island Rips and Korumburra Wildcats VJBL player Patrick Ryan, who was recently selected in the Australian Mens Squad for the 2019 FIBA Under-17 Oceania Championships has now been awarded a Scholarship with AIS Basketball Centre of Excellence. Pat will now reside in Canberra to complete his schooling and take advantage of the many opportunities presented to him in that time. We wish you all the best Pat.

SAM COMPETES AT THE U16 NATIONAL TITLES
The Wildcats own, Sammy Flanders, together with Country Victorian team mate Harry Pepper taking on ACT at the National Championships at Kilsyth. Sam has certainly held his own, top scoring in this particular game. Sam had the impressive stats of 19 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals in the 88 to 40 win.

Thank you to all that made our 2016 Masters Tournament a huge success. Playing over 2 days in 2 Divisions, 11 teams entered and we witnessed some high standard basketball. In the Division 1 Grand Final, Rinpn8dwg defeated the Comets and in Division 2 Grand Final, Myths and Legends defeated the Panthers. Thanks to Adam Smith and Bill Jeffs for their organisation of the event and to Troy and Julie Paterson from the Korumburra Middle Hotel for their support, particually on Saturday night. We hope to see everyone back next ye
