Training Session 2:
Many of you attended our first Umpire Training Session on Friday 10th May 2019 and we are pleased to announce that we are running a second training session on Friday 31st May (next week).

What to wear/bring
|
Comfortable clothing eg track suit top and bottom. PS it may be cold so make sure you have a jumper or sweat shirt + yr softball tights and or track bottoms to keep warm, your shoes that you ould normally umpire in (there will be a lot of running), your counter and your drink bottle.

- Strike Zone
- When is a ball Fair or Foul
- When Dead ie impact of Dead Ball Line
- Basic Signals
- Play Ball, Strike, Ball, Out, Safe, Foul Ball /Time/ Dead Ball
- Umpire positions on the diamond and rotations
- Plate, 1st Base Umpire, 3rd base Umpire
- Making Calls (ie Safe, Out)
- Practical session on umpire rotations
