PLAYER SPONSORSHIP

The Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association (YMBA) was established in 1987. Participants come from Yarrawonga/Mulwala and surrounding towns. The YMBA is a member of Basketball Victoria. Our programmes include Aussie Hoops (5-10y), Domestic (two seasons per year) and Representative (Rep) basketball. Rep basketball started with 3 teams in 2012 and has grown to 11 teams (over 100 kids) in the year 2020. It caters for girls and boys, 11-17y. They compete at 6-7 tournaments, each across a weekend, between September and April, at towns in northern Victoria. Players compete against other associations from all over Victoria and provide exposure to thousands of spectators over these tournaments. The association is excited that construction of a multisport stadium is scheduled to commence at the end of 2021. This will provide many more opportunities for our association and sponsors. Through basketball, the YMBA facilitates grassroots sports participation, skill development, enhanced self-esteem and social co-operation

The Player Sponsorship contributes towards participation costs for the nominated player (registration, uniform, court hire, equipment, insurance). In turn, your support may be able to be claimed as "marketing" (business) or a "donation" (personal), seek your accountant's advice. The Sponsor shall be entitled to (but doesn't have to)

• Name included as Player sponsor on back of the individual's warmup top ( optional) • Acknowledgment as a Player Sponsor on the YMBA facebook page.
