COVID-19 Information Page

Northern Suburbs Basketball Association continues to keep our members up to date with the relevant information relating to the resumption of sport at our venues. We have developed the Northern Suburbs Basketball Association COVID-19 Guidelines - Public Access to provide our members with the best possible resources.

COVID-19 Entry requirements

  • Masks must be worn upon entry into NSISC and anytime when you are not participating in on-court activities.
  • If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, of any kind, please stay at home, and seek prompt medical advice. DO NOT attend.
  • If you are deemed unwilling to comply with Norths COVID Safety protocols by NSBA staff, you may be asked to leave. You must leave immediately if asked by Norths staff.
  • As per NSW Government guidelines, NSBA must verify the vaccination status of all patrons aged 16 years and over when entering our venues. The following ways can be used to show proof of your vaccination status:
    • Your COVID-19 digital certificate in your digital wallet.
    • the Express Plus Medicare mobile app
    • your Medicare online account through myGov
    • Australian Immunisation Register (printed copy only)
  • If you are unable to be vaccinated because of a medical contraindication, you must show NSBA staff your signed exemption from your doctor to be allowed to enter.

 

Attending your booking

  • COVID-Safe check-ins and proof of vaccination will be required for staff and customers. 
  • Attendees are required to follow North’s Hygiene & Entry/Exit Protocols throughout their booking. This includes:
    • Temperature check and Sanitisation of hands-on arrival
    • Sanitisation of any balls or equipment brought in
    • Maintain social distancing when moving around the facility
  • Patrons must bring their own balls and equipment for use.
  • All attendees to use the EXIT under the Court 1 grandstand
