WHAT IS GATOR REP READY

What is Gator Representative Basketball?? Altona Gators play Friday nights at Altona and all around Melbourne against Junior Teams Representing other Associations in high standard competitions and in a variety of Grades.

What is Gator Rep Ready?? Domestic players are given an opportunity try Gators Training Sessions with no pressure on Selections – Just Come & Try our Gator Rep Ready training sessions to experience skills & drills & Advanced Coaching prior to the Gator Tryouts.

The aim of the Gators program is to build a strong positive sporting culture through our Coaches, Players and Parents to ensure all participants are able to obtain the skills and strategies to bring out the best in themselves.
HOW REP READY WORKS
This August/September we will run our Gator Rep Ready program to prepare Domestic players for Gator Rep Basketball training sessions and we will concentrate on developing individual skills and introduce players to our offensive and defensive concepts and structures.
This will ensure all players are better prepared for our Gator tryouts and will enable players to perform to the best of their abilities.
It will help to relieve some of the stress in competing as they already have an understanding of what is being asked.
Gator Rep Ready will give your child an improved opportunity to gain a spot on a Gators Team and if not they will be kept informed of future Rep Ready programs.
