About Us

St Alban's Soccer Club was founded in 1963.  With the remaining members of the St Alban's CEBS Club and the Newtown Finess Club, the Saints entered three junior teams in the Toowoomba Junior Association fixtures in 1964.

As the Club grew in numbers and strength the senior section was formed in 1967.  After success at this level and a number of junior players reaching senior status, the proposal to join the QSF fixtures in 1970 was accepted and a team was entered in the Sixth Div B.  Winning the Premiership in this year and consecutive years 1971, 1972 and 1973.  The CLub gained promotion to the QSF Second Div in1990 after winning the Minor Premiership in 1989 and losing the Grand Final to Goodna 1-0.

Over the years the junior members of the Club increased to make it one of the strongest competitors in the Association winning numerous premierships, knock out cups and age carnivals.

The original grounds were on Ruthven Street (current site of Burstows Funerals) and in 2004 they relocated to Middle Ridge Park on Stenner Street.  In 2013 the Club upgraded their facilities from a colourbond shed to a fantastic clubhouse.  This was only possible due to a lot of hard work from the commitee.

To date the Club has 18 Junior Teams from under 6 to under 15/16, a Ladies Team and 2 Senior Men's Teams all competing in the Football Toowoomba Competition.
