THE E.J Whitten Foundation is set to host its second Williamstown Walk for Men’s Health on November 15.
Organisers are encouraging community members to throw their support behind the fundraising event.
Whilst Australia is luckily blessed with many walks and runs supporting women’s and children’s health, the E.J Whitten Foundation have identified a need for an event which supports men’s health.
So the Foundation has decided to host a Men’s Walk in the beautiful suburb of Williamstown.
Event creators Jo Davis, who has a deep desire to honour the memory her late husband Graeme ‘Creamy’ Davis and Michael Fitzgerald of the EJ Whitten Foundation are hoping the walk will provide a way for people to commemorate the husbands, fathers, sons and brothers who have, and are battling with a men’s health issue.
The walk will start and finish at Burbank Oval in Williamstown, with participants taking in city and bay views.
Entry is $20, with all money raised from the day donated to the E.J Whitten Foundation.
