UNSW/ES Jake Reid has claimed the Apted Medal for being the best player in the men’s Division Five competition.
23 year old Reid, who is the captain of the Bulldogs Division Five side, polled 18 votes to finish seven votes clear of runner up and fellow teammate Tim O’Donnell.
Reid polled votes in seven games and was judged best afield in four of those games, round 2, 3, 12 & 16. He took the lead in Round 3 and maintained the lead for the entire season.
Penrith pair, Tayt Corless and Dane Fysh finished in third and fourth respectively while Holroyd Parramatta’s Mihir Wagle rounded out the top five.
