Moreton Bay United’s premiership hopes suffered a setback after falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Brisbane Roar Youth at Perry Park on Saturday.

A second half strike from Sam Sibatuara proved decisive for Young Roar as they recorded their first win since June to end a four match losing streak.

SWQ Thunder FC  1 (Keagan SHERIDAN 65’p)

Palm Beach SC remain in the hunt for a top four finish after comfortably seeing off SWQ Thunder 5-1 at Mallawa Complex on Saturday.

Sharks raced to a four goal advantage prior to the hour courtesy of Kristian Rees, Joshua Riis, Eoghan Murphy and Roman Hofmann, before Ethan Grimley wrapped up the result in time added on.

Brisbane City FC  3 (Anthony POLJAK 27’, Antonio MURRAY 35’, Mat BIGGINS 70’)
Northern Fury FC  2 (Sean KARAMBASIS 16’ 66’)

Brisbane City recorded their first home win since May overcoming a late send-off to defeat Northern Fury 3-2 at Corporate Travel Management Stadium on Saturday.

Sean Karambasis struck a goal in each half for Fury but it wasn’t enough to overcome goals from City’s Anthony Poljak, Antonio Murray and Mat Biggins.

FNQ FC Heat  2 (Alex SMITH 60’, Jamie GOSLING 88’p)

FNQ Heat’s kept their Finals Series push alive following a 2-0 win over Western Pride at Briggs Road Complex on Saturday.

Alex Smith and Jamie Gosling struck goals in the final half-hour to secure Heat their third consecutive three points and move to regain fifth spot in the PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland standings.

Sunshine Coast FC  0
Redlands United FC  1 (Igor SAO JOSE 89’) 

Sunshine Coast FC are officially out of the PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Finals Series race following a 1-0 defeat against Redlands United at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Both sides were reduced to ten men in the second half before Igor Sao Jose delivered the decisive strike in the final minutes of regular time to guide Redlands to a fifth straight win.
