Lara Soccer Club - Player Code of Conduct

This code of conduct shall apply to ALL players.  Any breach thereof shall be subjuct to disciplinary action by the appropriate governing body.

"For the good of the Game"

I will not engage in the use of inappropriate or abusive language that may be deemed offensive or engage in any conduct detrimental to the image of the game on or off the pitch.

I will not argue and/or dispute any decision with the referee and/or assistant referee, regardless of the decision they make.

I will treat participants, officails with respect.

I will abide by the lawss of the game and take responsibility for any fines I incur.

I will cooperate with my coach, team mates, referees and club/game officals.

I will not use any banned substance or drugs of dependence during my involvement with LSC.

I will not bring alcohol to any games involving junior players.

I will display good sportsmanship at all times.

Metro/State players will arrive at the game in full LSC apparel.

I will not use socuial media in a way that could harmn the reputation por position of LSC oe a fellow LSC member.

When using social media I will:

- be repsectful at all times (LSC facebook page is used by players of all ages, not just adults).

- be clear about who I am representating.

- take responsibility for any comments I make about LSC, its players, p[arents, coaches, committee, opposition and sponsors.

(Any breach of the player code of conduct via socialo media amy result in disciplinary action by the committee, including exclusionm form LSC).

I will commit to the travelling involved for all games and training sessions.

I will advise the coach of any inability to train as soon as possible.

I will resepct the facitlies being used.

 

Lara Soccer - Parent Code of Conduct

This code of conduce shall apply to all parents/guardians.  Any breach thereof shall be subject to disciplinary action by the appropriate governing body.

"For the Good of the Game"

Remember that all children play sport for thier enjoyment, not yours.

Encourage children to participate, do not force them.

Focus on the child's efforts and performance rather then winning or losing.

Encourage children to always particiapte according to the rules.

Never ridiculoe or yell at children for any reason - support and appropriately measured positive feedback achieved best results.

Remember tha children learn best by example - applaud good play by all teams.

Support efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from sporting activites.

Repsect all officals' decisipons and teach children to do likewise.

Show appreciation and repect for coaches, officals and administraors - without them your child could not particiapte.

Commit to travelling that is invo;lvbed for training and games.

Advise coach of any inabilty to attend training/games as soon as possible.

Refrain from coaching from the sidelines.  The coahes have been provided with approapriate training to perform this role.

Drinking of alchol is not permitted at any games involving junior players.

Take responsibilty for any fines incurred by your child.

Respect the facilties that are being used.
