The team is proud to announce that their name has been changed from the Guelph Gargoyles to the Grand River Gargoyles.
Since its inception in 2001, the Gargoyles have proudly represented Guelph in the Australian Football League Ontario (AFLO). Over the years, they have progressively come to represent footy outside of Guelph, with many players coming from neighboring cities such as Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Milton, Brantford, Stratford and London. The team’s new name is meant to reflect this change and usher in a new era for the Gargoyles.
Home games and Tuesday training will still happen in Guelph at Margaret Greene Park. Thursday training locations in KW at KCI along with our new club sponsor Bobby O'Briens!
