It’s that time of year again when the Hamilton Wildcats participate in assisting Neighbour 2 Neighbour with their Christmas Hamper Campaign. Neighbour 2 Neighbour Food Bank assists 1600 local families in need during the Christmas season. Families select gifts and food for their loved for the holidays.
The Wildcats use their muscles to load boxes of toys and food into a truck. Once the truck is packed, we drive to their other location and unload at 28 Athens Avenue. The Wildcats proudly wear their jumpers as we form an assembly line and complete this task usually in record breaking time of 90 minutes.
We are looking for 15 eager volunteers to accomplish this yearly tradition and their are still spots available!!! Please email Bonnie here: exec@hamiltonwildcatsafc.com to confirm your attendance, as she will need to notify Mark Raymond-Warehouse Manager from Neighbour 2 Neighbour with interested volunteers.
WHEN: 1pm-4pm
WHERE: meeting at Emmanuel United Church (871 Upper Ottawa St, Hamilton) to load all food, then we will all drive to N2N Centre to help unload (28 Athens Ave, Hamilton)
*PLEASE WEAR YOUR WILDCATS JUMPER OVER YOUR OTUDOOR CLOTHING TO REPRESENT OUR CLUB*
I understand there may be a conflict for those who play Indoor Footy on December 14th, 2013.
Your dedication is valued and greatly appreciated.
