In part 2 of this ongoing series we take a look at the 2010 Wildcats Captain, Brett Hill.
Brett AKA Hilly has been around the Hamilton Club for some time. After moving to Canada after meeting and marrying a Canadian lass, he soon became a member of the Hamilton Wildcats in 2003, and has only ever missed a handful of games due to injury and is now staring down the barrel of playing 100 games in the near future, currently sitting on 79 for his career.
Hilly leads from the front both on, and off the field. On the field he is aggressive and hard for the pill, and gives it his all whether it be in and under packs or making fast leads. He has laid claim to countless runner ups in the best and fairest in the past but still yet to snag one! Off the field he has always helped lead the Wildcats reputable "social life" hosting BBQ's, bon fires as well as lending his basement to countless Australians that have passed through from time to time. It also should be noted that he is the first to begin a Karaoke sing a long, as well as carving up the dance floor with one Nick Dirago at Hess Village.
Getting on in his years, Brett believes that now is the time for the 'Cats to really make a push for the flag, all the club requires is a little commitment and hard work from each and every player and it is completely accomplishable.
Will the cats respond in 2010? Only time will tell...
