The Brantford Athletic Club has been gracious enough to open their doors to the Hamilton Wildcats AFC for a 3rd consecutive season, as our off-season strength & conditioning venue every Thursday night until the start of the 2011 OAFL season. Thursday night trainings will be run by HWAFC veteran & career Personal Trainer Charles Thompson (ACE, CPTN-CPT, ISSA) as well as kettlebell specialist and Wildcats strongman, Kris McKillop. FREE DAY PASS FOR ALL NEW & CURRENT WILDCATS EVERY THURSDAY from 6:30pm-8pm!!!
Over the past 3-4 seasons, the Wildcats have worked tirelessly to improve their on-field conditioning as a team, and these weekly indoor circuit/pool sessions have been vital in our player's growth. These strength & conditioning sessions will be FREE for all who attend, and will add another dimension to our pre-season training routine which already includes Saturday indoor skills trainings several times a month & newly added Sunday night hot yoga sessions. The definition of insanity is 'doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results'. So, we intend to try something different - and will expect nothing but great results this coming season; both on and off the oval!!!
All new, current & past Wildcats are invited to attend this Thursday night training sessions, and please feel free to bring along anyone you think would be keen to join the Club, learn more about Australian Football or for those just looking for a fantastic workout!!!

***for all those who are NOT Athletic Club members, please meet in the Front Lobby between 6:15-6:30pm, as you will need to sign-in as a Guest to the facility!!!
WHAT TO BRING: Please make sure you bring along a pair of indoor running shoes/cross trainers, workout clothes (t-shirt policy in effect - NO tank tops) & swim suit for those interested in using the salt water pool/spa post workout. Towels can also be rented for $1.50ea, for those wanting to use showers/steamroom as well. Day use lockers, NO CHARGE, but please bring your own lock. Also, we do have a fully stocked Pro Shop & coffee/tea/shake bar as well, so please bring along some extra cash in you're interested in a post workout protein shake, etc. If you have any other questions, please contact Charles: cthompson@the-athletic-club.ca
