Our local ‘Neighbour to Neighbour Centre’ is looking for a handful of volunteers to help pack & load boxes collected from their multiple Food Drives this Holiday season at their Hamilton warehouse on Saturday, Dec 18th from 12noon-4pm. N2N has expressed a need of STRONG volunteers, both men and women, to assist in their Christmas Hamper Drive; particularly on Saturday December 18th. Basically the duties include packing the boxes and lifting them onto the truck. Most of the volunteers are seniors and the lifting can be quite cumbersome. Usually 30-50 volunteers are required for the day, and it would be great to have 10-15+ volunteers from our Club to assist in this worthy effort.
This is a remarkable opportunity, not only to help an amazing charity organization that doesn’t get nearly enough support from local residents, as well as a chance for the HAMILTON WILDCATS AFC to promote our Club within the community we so represent What’s a couple hours on a Saturday afternoon for a chance to give back and to make a difference in other people’s lives!!! The Hamilton Wildcats have raised our hand in this effort, but we need YOU to join us!!! ALL WILDCATS ABLE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR GAME DAY JERSEY!!!
From early numbers, it looks like we should have a small army of Wildcats on hand to help with this amazing event, but we can always use a few more strong bodies and willing hearts!!! ANY WILDCATS AVAILABLE TO HELP, PLEASE CONTACT CLUB PREISDENT TIM WILSON: president@hamiltonwildcatsafc.com or check out our Twitter Page: www.twitter.com/WILDCATSafc for more details!!! C’arn the WILDCATS!!!
