Wenty take Game 1 over Adelaide

Auburn Basketball Centre saw an epic battle today where neither team could hold onto a lead before Wenty prevailed 73-67 via tough defence in the dying minutes.
This was a game where the skills were lacking at times but the intensity was top-notch, especially in the second half.
WheelKings veteran Craig Cannane (pictured top) had by far his best performance of the year with 29 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. He was well-supported by CJ Grogan who scored 22 points and also pulled down 12 boards. Keegan Oh-Chee contributed 9 rebounds and Kylie Gauci dished out 9 assists. Keegan and Yara Ryan (pictured bottom) deserve special mention for their outstanding defence at critical times of the game.
