Wembley Downs lost striker Connor O'Hanlon early with a hammy but still had a solid 8 scoring chances plus a few half chances and a 2nd penalty missed but no one could finish for Wembley today. So with the hard working Wembley midfield in control with 80% possession and controlled the match for most of the game but only managed the one goal from a penalty converted by Karl gorman. The Wembley defence was as solid as usual and UWA only had 2 clear chances and scored both so a disappointing 2-1 loss with UWA scoring the winner in the 90th min as we kept on pressing for the winner - Disappointing but that’s football for you and all credit to UWA for plugging away. MOM for the firsts was Glenn Brooks who read the play well all day and was solid at centre back with the Juraj Galba the Slovakian assassin ????
