Corner to Home side at 34min of the game- I was 10metres from scene. Got into a verbal argument with home side player #4-FFA10550116-(Matthew Pernasilici). This all happened near the corner flag for away side. I did not hear exactly what was exchange but observed Kuol slapped and threw a punch at Matthew. Matthew avoided the full contact of the punch but certainly would have felt the slap on his face. Game paused for about 5mins whilst i deliberated, calmed the situation down. Red carded player (Kuol Chien) was sent off but on the way to the dressing room got into what appeared to be an argument with the father of Matthew (i was advised). Matthew was given a yellow card for unsporting behavior for the verbal. I was too far to see as i was on the pitch with the volunteer ARs.. Game resumed at the 40mins mark. I spoke briefly to the team managers at half time to speak to the players about behaving responsibly which made the second half drama free.
