Official Match Report

Below is a recount of the event that I would like to report to the FFV that happened in the reserves game on the 31st of July 2021, Northern Falcons vs Uni Hill Eagles FC.

At approximately the 70min mark in the game I drew a foul causing a reaction from the Uni Hill left back, “Christopher Fattore”, shirt no. 13, FFA number 10561150. He said to me “I’m going to fucking kill you, you cunt”. A clear death threat.

Unfortunately, this was not heard by the referee (Paul) so he was unable to take immediate action. However, it was heard by the Northern Falcons coach Daniel Pizzo, and the entire bench from both teams.

One of the players from Uni Hill “Younes Said”, shirt no. 4, FFA number 10356241, who heard the incident even came up to me after the incident, and after the game saying that what his teammate did was wrong and he would talk to him after the game.

Regardless, this type of behaviour should not be tolerated on the football pitch. I hope that the FFV will take action and reprimand this player accordingly so that it will deter events like this from happening, as no player should feel unsafe and fear for their life when stepping onto the pitch.
