Official Match Report

This game was not a very enjoyable experience as a match official. There was a lot of dissent towards the match official and the players were making very basic errors which at this level should not be happening. 2 red cards had to be issued because one player from Heidelberg received a second yellow having been booked for dissent earlier and then committing a reckless challenge on an opponent. Another red card was issued to a Heidelberg player for using abusive language directly towards the match official in a very threatening manner. In addition, Heidelberg failed to comply with the competition regulations regarding players on the match record and failed to list some player numbers on the match record prior to kick off.
