There were significant behavioural issues by the Laverton club, including members of the reserve bench and supporters who threaten physically the referee. It is of particular concern the invasion by an Laverton supporter to the field during half-time to hit the referee. The expectator that invaded was stoped by the marshalls by Williamstowns and Laverton. It is also of significant concern the behaviour of the Laverton Coach who was incitating the behaviour to the point that after an ejection from the field with a red card, he continued threatening to physically abuse the referee causing me that I had to leave with my family (two boys and parents) and could not continue refereeing.
