Official Match Report

City took on Shepp United on a windy day at Shadforth. Shepp United had a potential spot in finals to play for, whilst City on,y had pride to play for. The wind made the game difficult with lots of over hit passes etc, making for a scrappy match. United opened the scoring from a corner when a header looped over the keeper into the net in the 3rd minute. United looked the more dangerous and soon doubled their lead from another corner to lead 2 nil inside 20 mins. City scored on The back of some great build up play in the 20th minute through Josh Hutchins.
The second half opened the same way as the first and United piled on the pressure and scored early in the second half to effectively kill the game off. City battled hard and created opportunities, but just couldn't find that opening to put United under pressure. United scored twice more in the second half with 2 great goals from distance.
