The first goal in the first half should have been called a goal by the ref and a red card handed out. The ref was a parent from North Beach. The NB player put his hands up deliberately to stop Hamersley scoring, the ball was then fumbled by the goalkeeper and went in. Instead of calling a goal the ref gave a penalty shot to Hamersley and no repercussions to NB for the deliberate handball (we have footage of this). Furthermore, the ref-ing was incredibly biased, with things like handballs being called against Hamersley but not against NB. When a NB payer was injured, a free kick was awarded to NB and play halted, but not to Hamersley. The result of no free kick and time being stopped for Hamersley was a goal to NB (their second).
