Official Match Report

Rangers player #61 (who is 6'4 tall) injured around the 15-20 min point of 1st half. When going to head the ball he was kicked in the jaw by Stirling Blue player #6 as he attempted to scissor kick the ball at goal. Referree's line of site was obscured by players and she was unable to see the strike. Referee called a foul for dangerous play. Stirling player was very apologetic and checked in on the welfare of the Rangers player.

Stirling Blue comprehensively outplayed Rangers with accurate long range passes, positioning and team structure. Good sportsmanship was displayed by both teams. Of note was the Stirling Blue goalie congratulating the Rangers goal scorer when he was caught off line, conceding a goal in the 2nd half.

The referees were quick, decisive and professional. Much appreciated.
