Melee occurred after the final whistle infant of Ashburthon United SC technical area. All 3 officials could not get down any players/coaches for cards, however incident did look serious with #10 from South Melbourne claiming he was kicked in the leg during the melee. Alison Pert (South Melbourne FC team manager) has the VEO footage and will send it to referee and Ashburton United SC team manager.
