Official Match Report

A very tough, heated and intense match. Players from both teams were extremely aggressive and rough toward each other and sometimes the referee, which was normally followed after the abusive behavior demonstrated by both team’s team officials. First half which ended in favour of Bulleen Lions was very well controlled and managed but we experienced two brawls that took place in the second half between the majority of players from both teams. As the match officials, we observed and discussed details and decided on yellow cards to be given to some players of both teams as punishment in both situations. Overall it was a difficult match to officiate but at the end, Bulleen Lions got the win.
