2022 Sunday Men Season 3 (Nov start)
Competition Notes
Players are not permitted to play for more than one Team in the same division as they play.
Players wanting to play for another team in a different division must notify the office within the first 4 weeks of that competition.
Time outs in games that have a Running clock are not permitted in the last 2 minutes of that game, the time out must be completed at and the players back on court for the final 2 minutes of play.
Substitutions are not permitted in final 1 minute of game, players must be on court prior to final minute of game.
Points Allocated for games played are as follows:
WIN (3 points) DRAW (2 points) LOSS (1 point) BYE (0 points) FORFEIT WITHOUT NOTICE GIVEN (-1 point) FORFEIT WITH NOTICE GIVEN (+1 point)
Ladder standings are determined by Points (Pts) allocated for games played (as above). Where teams do not play the same number of games (do not play each other an even number of times in the competition) the ladder standings will be determined by Winning Percentage (PCWon) not Points (Pts) or percentage of points scored (PC).
Ladder standings for Semi & Finals Games
If two teams are even on either Pts or PCWon, then their head to head record will determine standings position, and if this is even, then points for and against percentage (PC) will be used to determine standings. If three or more teams are even on either Pts or PCWon, then the game results between these teams will determine the ladder placings.
QUALIFICATION FOR SEMIS AND FINALS
A player must play 40 percent of regular season games. Those players under 40 percent must email the office for an exemption to play by 2pm on the day of the game.
Requests must come from an authorised adult e. g Coach/manager .
Any Protests due to perceived infraction of the Rules or game results are to be notified to the office in writing via a protest by 12 midnight the same evening
**Games cancelled outside the 24 hour direct notification period is an admin fee of:
$45 for Primary teams
$55 for Junior teams
$65 for Seniors teams
Forfeits notified directly (not messages left) inside the 24 hour period is a normal court fee payment plus $15 administration charge; teams not showing is a double payment of court fee as they pay for the other team as well.
***Weekly Court Fees:
Primary School Teams: $75.00 per game
Secondary School Teams: $80.00 per game
Senior Teams: $85.00 per game
Teams are required to have the same colour matching singlet tops. Shorts must be black if they do not match the singlet.
