Games played at the YMCA - Pembroke St and Fraser High School on Ellicott Rd
Basketball at the Year 7 & 8 level becomes more structured and competitive, while still prioritizing skill development and enjoyment. Students begin to take on more advanced aspects of the game, including:
- Refining core skills like dribbling under pressure, accurate passing, and consistent shooting
- Playing full-court games with standard rules, encouraging teamwork
- Building resilience and sportsmanship, learning to handle wins and losses with maturity
