Term 4 - Year 1 & 2 Primary Intermediate Basketball
Played every Thursday afternoon at the YMCA on Pembroke St, Hamilton.
From 4pm - 7.30pm
Basketball for Year 1 and 2 students is all about fun, movement, and learning the basics. It’s designed to be inclusive and energetic, helping young children build confidence while developing key skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. To build team work through games and to enjoy learning to play basketball.
Games are usually non-competitive, with a focus on participation and enjoyment rather than scoring or winning. Coaches and teachers encourage positive attitudes, fair play, and celebrating effort
