Goalkicking midfielder who has been compared to Byron Pickett for his zeal and aggression at the ball. A left-footer with excellent pace and tackling skills and uses the ball well. Although too young to be drafted in 2005, he impressed at that year’s NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, but had an injury interrupted 2006 with stress fractures in his foot and later a shoulder injury. A big-game player and incredibly competitive. Honoured as the first indigenous captain of the Queensland under-18 side in 2006.
