This week found Devon Meadows at home playing Keysborough. Not one team able to make it over the line with a win, watching A grade from the side line I thought we were going to win after the way they played in the 3rd quarter. Bad luck girls!!!
I didnât do notes last week after our Tooradin game but I would really like to thank the football boys who came over and have been coming over and supporting the girls itâs fantastic to see and greatly appreciated!

A Grade
Grey and gloomy at Glover Reserve on Saturday and that's the way we played. We need to play at our best for 60 minutes or we won't get anywhere. Playing awesome netball for the first 7 minutes of each quarter isn't enough. Keysie played good consistent netball for 4 quarters and we played good netball for 7 minutes of each quarter and the result is was we lost.
A big game against Cranbourne this week. This will really tell us we are with respect to finishing on the ladder. This is a must win game Meadows. Let's give it our all.
Thanks to the Devon meadows Football players that have been coming over to support the girls when they can. It's really great to have your support. Of course, thanks to all of the loyal supporters of the Meadows girls. It's great to have you behind us.
B Grade.
It was a very disappointing week this week as on the side line it seemed we had more of the ball then Keysborough but we just couldnât shoot the goals. We need to keep our heads high and concerns low girls, compared to last year we are doing so well and I am so proud. If you girls focus more on what we work on at training and convert your turn over you will be definite final contenders!
C Grade
With the girls getting better as every quarter went on. We ended up equaling with the opposition in the last quarter, now all we need to do is play every quarter like our last. Best on Court went to Shelley as she never gives up and she got a lot of intercepts. Special thanks to Katrina for stepping up from under 17's to give us a hand this week. Thanks to Keysborough and we are looking forward to this weekend against Cranbourne.
