Volunteers are at the heart of our sport’s success and week to week implementation. This award will recognise the significant contribution of over 8000 volunteers across Northern NSW.

Appreciation is a key consideration for clubs who want to recruit and retain good volunteers and goes a long way to encouraging volunteers to actively engage with their club.

Every month, NNSWF in conjunction with its seven Member Zones selected one volunteer from each Zone to be awarded “Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month”. Each winner was awarded with a certificate recognising their achievement, Volunteer Jacket and Patrick Atomic Pro Bag. Their contribution to football will also be recognised on the NNSWF website network.

From the pool of monthly winners, a “Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Year” for each Zone will be recognised.

This final pool of Zone winners will be assessed and one will be awarded as the “Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Year” announced at NNSWF annual awards night. This winner will receive an award plus a $250 First Touch Gift Voucher.
