Joining the Dingos in 2000, Craig Stewart emerged as one of the pillars of the club and currently holds the all-time records for Goals Kicked and Games Played by an Australian for the Dingos. An 8-time Dingo Captain, Stewy has also been named to numerous OAFL All-Star teams, is a 6-time Dingo Aussie Best & Fairest, and won the OAFL Best & Fairest in 2004. In 2014, the Dingos renamed their Division 1 Best & Fairest Award, calling it the Stewart Award, in his honour.
His achievements on the field are equaled by those off of it. A tireless advocate and supporter of Dingos footy, Stewy worked constantly to grow and better the club. A six-time President of the Dingos, Stewy was also awarded the Steinberg Award on two occasions. He was awarded Life Membership of the club in 2009, one of only 11 Dingos to ever achieve that distinction. With such constant effort and promotion over a long period of time, it could be argued that Stewy is one of the most influential club members in the Dingos' storied history.
In 2013, Craig played his last game for the Dingos, moving back home to Perth with his family. A highlight of the Dingos' 20th Anniversary Gala in 2015 was Stewy's attendance, where he spoke about the Dingos family and received a standing ovation from his former teammates and Dingo brothers. At the Gala, Stewy was also named as Forward Flank of the Dingos' 20th Anniversary AllStar Team.
