Dec Marshall kicked six [only in a one half], Parker Fox five and Ngong Arou four while Sam Naidu suffered a severe case of leather poisoning collecting plenty of the ball. The 19s with their win 150 odd point win maintain their dominant top of the ladder position. They look ahead to playing Silvan who appear to be fellow contender away in Silvan at 10 AM.
The reserves, recorded a strong win against Glen Waverly and with our regular forwards out Tom Rogers stepped up with five majors and Tom Veitch continued his strong form in the mid, it was also great to see Dean Spencer back on the park. The reserves looked to continue building on their season away against Silvan playing at 12.05 PM.
The ‘Ones’ again worked hard having an outstanding first quarter and found a few extra avenues to goal, but sadly fell short by 18 points in a promising effort. Kane Henden and Ryan Higgins were among our best. They look to get their first win on the board this week playing at 2.10 PM away at Silvan.
With all 3 teams heading up to the mountains into rare territory to take on Silvan we look forward to the challenge and maybe a win in all three grades for the first time this year.
Our sponsor of the week is Robert Clark – MP for Box Hill. Robert is a wonderful supporter of our club and is often up at the club supporting the boys. Thanks Robert for being part of the Surrey Family.
