With GWH without an Under 19’s, our boys headed out to Kilsyth and played a solid game to come away with a solid win, 6.9.45 to 19.12.126

After a sluggish start (11 points down at the first break), the ‘Seconds’ started to hit their straps to have some impact on the scoreboard in the second quarter to be down just one goal at the main break. Surrey kept at it and where just three points behind going into the last quarter, was an upset brewing?
The boys ran out the game magnificently and outscored GWH in the last to run out three point winners, 5.12.42 to 5.9.39. A great reward for effort to record their fourth win of the year.
For Surrey, the Goal Kickers were Luke Jackson with 2, and singles to Blake Mios, Scott Sheehan and the veteran Phil Carruthers
Our best were Todd Campigli, Tim McGlone, Matt Anderson, Josh Reid, Harry Cook and Chritiaan Domini
