The 19’s led all day to score a convincing win, 17.20.122 to 0.1.1, to get back on the winners list after three defeats.
Our Goal Kickers were Dec Hauser with 6, Liam Mooney 3, Nate Briscomb with 2 and singles to Ben Gandolfo, Matt Sorrenti, Danyon Smart, Harry Douglas, Zach Flintoff and Tom Rogers. The Best Players were Tom Badcock, Dec Hauser, Zach Flintoff, Liam Mooney, Oliver Anderson and Danyon Smart.
The Reserves were able to match it with Kilsyth until half time when they kicked away to lead by 14 points at the last change. The boys fought hard and scored four last quarter goals, including three very late ones to fall by just 4 points. This was good effort against the third-placed team but defiantly one that got away.
Final scores were Surrey Park 7.9.51 to Kilsyth 8.7.55.

More drama was to come, as the Senior team went head to head all day with Kilsyth, who were unbeaten over the last 10 weeks.
Scores were even at quarter time, Kilsyth led by 8 at half time, Surrey fought back to be just 4 points down at the main break.
After a tense last quarter the scoreboard showed at the final siren at one point victory to Surrey…only to be dashed when the goal umpires overruled to indicate that in fact the game ended in a draw!
Josh Hughes showed his versatility by putting in a best on ground performance in the ruck, with the likes of Christ Dishot, Mick Paolini and Paul Young continuing their good vein of form!
Final scores saw Surrey Park 7.4.46 draw with Kilsyth 6.10.46.
