As usual, the under 19’s kicked off the dew against the Forest Hill / Vermont combine, and the visitors came out of the box and before we knew it wit was 4 goals to zip with the visitors doing it well.
The boys fought hard, coring the next two goals to be down by two goals at half time. The second half was a completely different story, with our boys on fire scoring 13 second-half goals to four to run out 46 point victors, 15.11.101 to 8.7.55, Nate Briscombe again proved dominant up forward bagging 7 to take his season tally to 16, sitting second on the gaol kicking table. The boys remain undefeated at the top of the table after five rounds.

The Reserves ran out to take on the top-of–the table Forest Hill and to their credit they fought it right out, but in the end Forest Hill had a few too many winners.

In the main game we once again came out with a reasonably strong first quarter scoring two goals to Forest Hill’s four. After that Forest Hill were able to step it up a notch scoring goals with their run through the mid field and their forward strength. Our young defenders Ben Vile, Darcy Sketcher and Richard Scott did themselves and the club proud against bigger and more experienced opponents and were far from disgraced.
Final score saw Forest Hill 20.18.130 defeat Surrey Park 3.9.27
The goal kickers for Surrey Park were Liam Doidge, Graeme Johns and Michael Paolini while the Best Players were Richard Scott , Ben Vile , Darcy Sketcher , Luke Francis , Joe Crabtree and Zach Moore
