Dan Morris capped off his strong season as Club Captain by taking out the Club Best & Fairest Award ahead of Joe Crabtree and Ben Walker at a gala evening held at The Pavilion Box Hill on Friday 10th October.
In the major award of the evening, Morris polled 107 votes to win the ahead of Crabtree on 97 and Walker on 82. Joe Crabtree came in second (for the second season in a row) a tribute to his consistency, focus and dedication to our Club. Ben Walker came in third - a terrific performance given the departure of two of our key inside onballers just ptior to the start of the season leaving Ben to shoulder much of this responsibitity throughout the season.
Club stalwart James Wright won the Reserve XVIII award ahead of big man Rohan Cleary with last years winner Dean Spencer along with Andrew Venables tying for third. Kane Henden polled strongly to win the Under 19 award ahead of Captain Richard Scott and backman Dylan Jones.
