Under 19s Coaches Report
Our young under 19 team has hit the wall the last two games. After 2 great efforts against Croydon and Lilydale where we saw marked improvement, Park orchards handed us a reality check on Saturday, best quickly forgotten. The next four weeks are critical for our season as we look to discover the spark from earlier in the season

Reserves Coaches Report
Terrific win by the boys against 2nd place Park Orchards who have only lost 3 for year to date, our ability to stick to our plan all day with one qtr at a time our focus was just brilliant. The intensity the guys displayed and selfless attitude for each other just proved that our footy is well and truly good enough to play finals at this level. After a even 1st qtr where we had more of the play we stuck to the task at delivered a strong performance in the 2nd with a 4 goal to zero qtr, clearly on top in all areas at the main break. The 3rd again had us kick 4 to get out to a 8 goal lead as we shut them out completely. The last was solid again to take the points by 6 goals. With an even contribution from all it’s hard to pick out the best and that’s testament to true team 1st performance and attitude, awesome support the boys received so thanks to all our supporters. We are very motivated to finish the year off in form so this week we can’t wait for against Bayswater.

Senior Coaches Report
This week we hosted Park Orchards who needed to win to stay in touch with top 4. Our focus was to bring pressure and not allow any easy ball movement.
We did this for the 1st half and held a comfortable 3 goal lead going into half time. The challenge was to be able to stand up when they made their run at us in the 3rd quarter which we knew was coming.
We were unable to respond to the challenge in the 3rd quarter which was disappointing and at 3 quarter time we faced a 3 goal deficit.
We were able to get the margin back to 2 goals during the last quarter but were unable to sustain the effort and ended up going down by 4 goals.
Jackson Glossop was fantastic down back all day and Matt Hill used his speed and kicking ability to break the lines for us.
Thanks to all the supporters who came down on the weekend and to everyone who attended the presidents lunch, we appreciate your support
