Under 19s Coach report
With the improvement from last week we were confident if we bought that effort into this game we were a chance. After having the better of the start, we found ourselves a couple of goals down in the 2nd quarter. Fortunately we clicked into gear on the back of Jayden Irving in the middle we quickly got on top. With the exception of a few minor glitches we went on to comfortably score our first win in a good team performance.

Reserves Coach Report
We were faced with a real challenge this week with numbers as we had a perfect storm with key injuries, it was great to see 3 x 19's come in and help us out. Our first half was just not up to standard as their pressure and run was too much for us and they kicked away to lead comfortably at the main break. Our third qtr though was terrific as we started to play our way as we increased the pressure onto them, in the last they lifted and went on to win easily and for us it was a disappointing day. Our best was Mick Barro who gave effort after effort and was super, Tsolos led from the front again and Albie Young did a solid job down back. Week off is timely as there should be up to 8 players return from injury for the next round. Great to see our supporters out in force thanks very much it's appreciated by all of us.

Senior Coach Report
We were at home again this week against Wantirna Sth who had started the season strongly on the back of recruiting some quality experienced senior players. We felt going into the contest that if we could break even around the stoppages and apply good defensive pressure when they had the footy that our leg speed on the outside would trouble them.
The first quarter was an even affair with both sides attacking the ball hard and working hard defensively making scoring difficult. The 2nd quarter was much of the same until deep into red time when we conceded 2 late goals giving Wantirna Sth a 15 point lead. The challenge was similar to the previous 2 weeks, which was to see if we could stay with a good team in the 3rd quarter when the intensity lifted. Disappointingly we were unable to do so again with a 5 goal to 2 goal quarter blowing out the margin to 37 points at ¾ time.
The last quarter was much of the same with the final margin becoming 56 points.
Zach Elms showed enormous promise in his first senior game for the club and Ryan Sullivan was also fantastic in just his 2nd senior game of footy.
With the week off we will be working hard on the track to correct the issues that are costing us in the 2nd half of games. Thanks to everyone who came out on the weekend, we appreciate the support that you give us.
