Under 19s Coach's Report
No floor no ceiling thats what a young group brings
Today we come up against a brutally powerful disciplined well organised football team - yes for the majority of the game we were shown exactly where the bar is, a hard pill to swallow but in the midst of our lesson we did play some good footy. Our 3rd quarter was quite competitive & with such a young group we will take our postives & learn from the mistakes. Best Antniou,Prout,Stingell, Laughlin, Irving Goals J HIlton J Irving

Reserves Coach's Report
Chalk and cheese conditions from the week before with a cold wind and rain to deal with out at Croydon, I asked to see 4 qtrs of contested footy and that’s what I got with our boys bringing good intensity and effort all day to really challenge last years premiers however going down by 3 pts. Our structures held up which was good to see as this was an area for improvement form the week before, we had plenty of inside 50’s but we didn’t take our opportunities when we should’ve and that cost us the points at the end of the day as around the ground we matched it with them. You should never rely on luck but sometimes it helps as we were to kick with the wind in the 3 qtr but a change in conditions and monsoon down pour saw that advantage taken away. Nathan Foster was our best as he handle the tough elements well rebounding countless times form the defence, our back 6 were terrific with Baz crashing packs, new bloke Brocky really stood up and Albie was solid all day. Our on ballers were tough with Tsolos and Menz fighting hard, just super at the footy. Had to be pleased with our effort and the way we played in general, disappointed with a loss of course but good signs as we head to face Lilydale this week. Great to see the Tiger army in full force as always, thanks to everyone that came down.

Senior Coach's Report
This week we travelled out to Croydon which is always a hard road trip. Luckily for us the reserves got the rough end of the stick with the weather and it wasn’t too bad for us although a little bit slippery.
The first half we showed some good signs, playing good patches of football and looking dangerous when we were able to link up and use our run and carry to get the ball in quickly to our forwards.
Unfortunately we had a couple of lapses which allowed Croydon to get some easy goals out the back and Jake Parente unluckily played on and kicked a goal as the siren went which meant we went into the half time break 2 goals behind.
With the game in the balance at half time we knew how important the 3rd quarter was going to be, disappointingly we were terrible in the 3rd quarter, Croydon were more desperate, worked harder and were much cleaner with their disposal and opened up a 6 goal break going into the last quarter.
We were better in the last quarter but the damage had been done. Until we learn to concentrate for 4 quarters and lift our work rate when the game is in the balance we will struggle to get the results that we desire.
Jackson Glossop was outstanding all day down back and Matt Gordon was very good across half forward for us.
Thanks to all the supporters who came out to watch us in trying conditions we look forward to seeing you all at home this weekend for the Anzac clash against Lilydale.
