Reserves Coaches Report
Great effort by out boys to get the points this week after the last 3 outings haven't gone our way, with 6 changes form the previous game making 11 of our reserves list out right now the depth is certainly getting tested as we had only 4 on the pine including Jimmy Witchell who helped us out. We started well and continued to produce a consistent standard for the day as our pressure around the ball was super, our back six was brutal with Waverley only scoring 2 goals after qtr time, Josh Kable and EJ were our best as they both dominated in their positions and clearly gave us advantage in the middle and around the ground, Tayles once again showed good form his run from half back and voice all day the highlight. Great to see Mikey back today and he was terrific kicking 3. We head to Croydon next week a big test as they are 2nd on the ladder, confidence is a great thing and we take a lot of that into this week. Thanks to our supporters and everyone who came down.

Senior Coaches Report
After the week off we faced Waverley Blues at home, despite the fact that they were sitting on the bottom of the ladder we knew we would have to play some good footy to get the win. We started the game well having the first 5 scoring shots, unfortunately they were all points letting Waverley off the hook. Once we readjusted our radar we were able to take control of the game with some good passages of play and some strong defensive efforts. Just before 3/4 time we had skipped out to a 28 point lead, but disappointingly we conceded the last 2 goals in quick succession giving them a sniff. They threw everything at us in the last quarter getting within 1 point but we were able to steady and come away with a 8 point win. We had emphasized quicker ball movement during the break and it was good to see that come to fruition, it allowed our forwards to operate with a bit more space and have more one on one contests. Jayden Hoegel took full advantage looking dangerous all day in the air and at ground level finishing with 7 goals. Lockie Ryan continued on his merry way with another great game through the midfield ably assisted by Rob Petracca, and out of defense Ben Joseph and Josh Bell provided plenty of run. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch us on a very cold day, we always appreciate your support.
