Three very good wins last week against Waverley Blues @ home, In front of a large parochial home crowd the Tigers roared again in what was a great day for the club The under 19s needed a half to get their motor running and once they did were all over the Blues in the second half. With the help of some seasoned veterans The Reserves also took a quarter to get going and once they did outscored the Blues 7 goals to 2 after half time with Bluely McKeown standing up with 4 majors The Seniors had to dig deep to record a plucky win after losing captain Julz Petracca early in the game who spent Saturday in hospital as Zak Nicholas McCubbin and The BIG Man Jarryd Elton led the way.

Under 19s Coaches Report
This week we played Waverley Blues who are yet to win a game this season. Our boys took far too long to fire a shot on Saturday letting our opposition stay with us coming into the main break. Our inability to hit simple targets and our work rate were concerning to say the least. The boys finally stood up in the second half. Ben Joseph, Terry Ferlazzo and Mick Barro held our backline together whilst giving us plenty of drive from defense. Roddy Arguello didn't stop battling all day in what was his best game for the season and Luke McKeown fought back hard in the second half to help drive the footy to our advantage. Liam Johnston (4 goals) & Sam Howell (3 goals) both played solid games up forward kicking 7 out of our 10 goals. A win is a win but it was far from convincing and far from our best footy. A big thank you to Senior Coach Neil Winterton who took our boys for training tonight. It was evident straight away that the boys lifted with him helping out! Hopefully we carry the same attitude and commitment into this weeks big match v Croydon. Congrats to Winno, Jordy and their boys on two great wins. Yet again a great day for the club with three Senior wins. Look forward to seeing you all at Croydon this week where all three games are crucial to each of our sides!

Reserves Coaches Report
Both sides were 5 wins 4 losses so it was a very important day to win and get into the four. After a slow first 10 mins we then were able to gain our composure and start to play our running game. Couple of goals down at qtr time we knew if we maintained our pressure scoring will come and it did with a 4 goal second term to take a 3 goal lead at halftime. In the 3rd and 4th qtr's we were terrific as our work rate was just too good for them, Bluey was super all day and also kicked a couple, Adelaide who played up forward booted 3 for the day and Tom Blanche again showed his run all day with another bog performance. Saturday was a overall consistent display with a team first approach, the boys deserved the win, it now see us equal points in the four. Thanks to all the supporters who came down and also thanks to Dane, Llyody and Q for helping out on the day.
Seniors Coaches Report
This week we came up against Waverley Blues who were on the same points as us so we knew were in for a tough day as the losing side would drop a game back of the final four. We started well with first gamer "Danger" Glanville getting our first goal and giving the boys a real lift. Unfortunately some inaccurate kicking meant we weren't able to get full reward for our good first quarter. Right throughout the day every time it looked like we were going to skip away with the game Waverley kept fighting back and keeping the game too close for comfort. In the last quarter we stretched the margin out to 4 goals halfway through the quarter but once again Waverley fought back to make it a 7 point margin with a couple of minutes to go, to be able to hold on and get the win was fantastic and showed some real character from the group. Jarryd Elton played his best game for the year in the ruck and gave our midfield some really good service. Well done to Danger on his first senior game, he certainly didn't look out of place and gave us some real spark and booted 2 majors as well. Thanks to all our supporters who came out on a cold wet day, hopefully we see you all next week out at Croydon
